Christmas Markets

19 Dec

Helsinki is all atwitter with Christmas spirit! For the past several weeks, Christmas markets have taken over some popular spaces in Helsinki like the old student union building called Vanha, Esplanadi, outside Kamppi, and the Central Railway Station. There is quite a range of goods offered in these markets–homemade cloud berry jams, reindeer sausage, glass ornaments, ceramic mugs, sterling silver jewelry, felted monsters and on and on. These markets are the perfect venue for finding all sorts of bespoke treasures for the holidays!
