Finnish Parliament

30 Nov

Last Friday, I took a tour of the Finnish Parliament. There are two hundred members in the Parliament of Finland. Elected every four years, the members convene to discuss the state budget and assist decision-making for the European Union. We ate lunch and then we actually got to watch part of a Finnish Parliament session. The meeting was held in Finnish, so I wasn’t able to really understand what was on the agenda for that day.

Dessert, my favorite part of any meal
